A focused, professionally written business book
Your expertise deserves more than a transcript.
You have years of experience, a point of view and a way of solving problems that clients value. Getting those ideas into a book should not require you to put your business on hold.
The Super Book turns focused interviews into a professionally written short book designed to help prospective clients understand your thinking before they decide whom to call.
Starting at $12,50012,000 to 15,000 wordsTwo structured interviewsTarget: 6 to 8 weeks
A short conversation to determine whether this approach fits your audience, message and business goals.
The book you keep meaning to write
You have probably explained your best ideas hundreds of times.
You explain them to prospects. You return to them in client meetings. You teach them from the stage and revisit them in interviews, newsletters and presentations. Yet when the conversation ends, much of the thinking that made your work distinctive stays in the room.
A concise book can give those ideas a more permanent form. Someone can read it before a meeting, pass it to a colleague or return to it when a decision becomes more urgent.
The hard part is deciding what belongs in the book, what can be left out and what a reader needs to understand before your experience becomes relevant to them.
Reporting first. Writing second.
We interview you like a journalist. Then we write the book.
Recording a conversation is useful. But a recording by itself does not decide what your reader needs, recognize the story you nearly skipped or challenge an explanation that makes perfect sense to you but leaves a prospective client confused.
Bob Graham brings decades of experience in journalism, communications and business writing to that work. He asks the next question, looks for the thread between your ideas and shapes the material into prose that makes sense on the page.
The result is a concise book built from your expertise and written for your reader, rather than a lightly polished interview transcript.
Less time spent trying to write. More attention to what deserves to be said.
A focused book for a specific purpose
A good fit when the book has a clear job to do.
This approach is particularly useful for financial advisors who want prospective clients to understand their planning philosophy, consultants who need to explain an approach before a proposal, coaches who want to introduce their methods, speakers who need a substantial resource to share after a presentation and founders whose ideas have been scattered across years of conversations.
The common thread is a focused audience and a business purpose. If your book requires original investigative reporting, a complex memoir or a substantially longer treatment, we'll discuss a full Authority Book instead.

We draw out the stories, examples and distinctions that explain how you think.
Professional writing
We develop a cohesive manuscript of approximately 12,000 to 15,000 words, followed by one consolidated substantive revision round.

Printed copies are not included. Once the paperback is approved and available, you may order author copies through your own publishing account at applicable printing and shipping costs.
The Super Book process
You talk. We find the book inside the conversation.
Find the reader and the point
We agree on what the book is meant to accomplish and what readers should understand by the end.
Interview and uncover
Across two structured interviews, Bob asks questions designed to surface your judgment, stories and language.
Write and refine
SpearPoint Ink creates the manuscript, then works through one consolidated revision round after your review.
Prepare for publication
Once the manuscript is approved, we complete production files and assist with standard Amazon KDP setup.
Put the book to work
Use your digital edition and any printed copies you order separately to introduce your thinking in relevant business conversations.
Six to eight weeks is a production target, not a promise of platform approval, regulatory clearance or printed-book delivery by a fixed date. Prompt client feedback is required.
Right-sized for the reader
The goal is to earn the next conversation.
Someone evaluating an advisor, consultant or coach may not want a 250-page book before making an introductory call. A focused book can explain the problems you help solve, show readers what you notice and give them a sense of how you approach decisions.
It does not need to teach every method you use. The most useful result may be a reader realizing that their circumstances deserve a more thoughtful conversation.
The book still needs real substance. Every chapter should give the reader a reason to keep going, not simply repeat a sales pitch.

We recommend the scope that suits the book's purpose. A bigger project is not automatically a better investment.
The next level: Authority Asset
For leaders who also want speaking assets, launch materials and a larger authority-building system around the book, the Authority Asset engagement starts at $40,000. Scope is customized to business goals.
For financial advisors and regulated professionals
Credibility includes knowing what belongs in the book.
A financial advisor's book may need to satisfy internal review standards before it can be used publicly. Our approach emphasizes educational discussion, the thinking behind financial decisions and the questions a reader should consider, rather than promises, performance claims or personalized financial instructions.
We can work from a proposed outline and coordinate the writing process with your firm's compliance requirements. Your firm and its designated reviewers remain responsible for approving the final content. Any specialized compliance review, legal work or revision requirements beyond the Super Book scope are separately addressed before work begins.
Investment and fit
Super Book starts at $12,500.
The fee covers defined manuscript development, editing, standard production and the Book-to-Conversation Kit described above. A focused subject and timely approvals help keep the work within scope.
If your book needs more extensive research, additional interviews or a larger editorial undertaking, we will explain the difference before recommending a proposal. We will not try to compress a complex book into a process that cannot serve it well.
In the conversation, we'll examine your audience, the central idea and how you expect to use the book. If a Super Book isn't the right fit, we'll say so.
Who asks the questions
Bob Graham, Founder of SpearPoint Ink
Bob's background spans journalism, marketing, public relations, teaching and business coaching. He has spent decades interviewing people, discovering what is distinctive in their thinking and finding a way to make complicated ideas understandable.
His work with business authors begins with the same question: What does this reader need to understand, and what can this particular expert help them see?
FAQ
Questions about the Super Book
Will this sound like me?
The interviews give us your language, examples and way of thinking. The writing process turns that material into readable prose, and you review the manuscript before publication. We aim for a voice that feels true to you without preserving every repetition and detour of spontaneous speech.
How much time will I need to spend?
Plan on two structured interviews and a focused strategy discussion, plus time to review the outline, manuscript and final proofs. The actual review time depends on the material and the speed of your feedback.
Is this just an edited transcript?
No. Interviews are source material. SpearPoint Ink develops the structure, writes the manuscript and edits the final work for readers. We may preserve your phrasing where it is effective, but the book is written rather than simply cleaned up.
Is 12,000 to 15,000 words enough for a book?
It can be enough for a focused business book with a well-defined audience and purpose. Some subjects need much more space. We'll discuss the appropriate scope before recommending this service.
Can I use the book with prospects and referral partners?
Yes. That is one of its intended uses. The Book-to-Conversation Kit offers practical starting material for introducing and sharing the book. Results depend on the audience, quality of the message and how the book is used.
Can financial advisors use this service?
Potentially. We write with educational and compliance-sensitive uses in mind, but we cannot promise approval. Your firm or designated compliance professionals must review and approve any material as required by your policies and applicable rules.
Will it be published on Amazon?
The package includes standard assistance preparing and submitting paperback and Kindle editions through your own Amazon KDP account after your approval. Publication remains subject to Amazon's policies and review procedures. We do not guarantee a fixed approval date.
What if I need a longer, more substantial book?
That's what our full Authority Book engagement is designed to address. We will discuss research, scope, writing needs and intended business use before recommending the right approach.
Do I own the book?
The author's rights and ownership are set out in the final engagement agreement. The intended arrangement is that the client owns the approved work and uses their own publishing account. Confirm specific rights, source materials and licensing terms in the contract.
Is there a guarantee of leads, referrals or sales?
No. A useful book can support business conversations, but outcomes depend on factors beyond the writing process. We do not promise a specific number of leads, clients, sales, media appearances, rankings or AI recommendations.
